I am Melanie Ngai, a 27-year-old ESL teacher with a CertTESOL certification. I graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and attended Simon Fraser University for an education degree, however withdrew due to personal issues. In terms of teaching, I bring a creative and effective communication style to my teaching, creating a dynamic learning environment for my students. I have 2-3 years of tutoring experience and have worked as a teacher's assistant in primary schools in Canada, focusing on English (Language Arts) and math for students in grades 1 to 7. I am organized, proactive, and thrive in teamwork. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Putonghua, I connect well with diverse learners.
