Hello. I am Tanvir Hifsa, a graduate of Bachelors in English Studies, pursuing my Masters degree in Applied Linguistics in the coming academic year. Apart from holding a TEFL and CELTA certificate , I have over 7 years of teaching experience where I have helped students who struggle with the fundamentals of English including Grammar, Reading, Writing and Listening. I have experienced in teaching IELTS and DSE classes, both online and face-face. In the past, I have taught kindergarteners, primary, secondary students and adults with their receptive and productive skills in English. English as second language could be hard for students to acquire, my lessons are tailored to cater the students needs by starting from basic English to advanced level. Apart from educating students about English, I believe it is essential for students to develop an interest in learning English as if they are speaking their mother tongue with the same amount of Congo and confidence. Hence, I intend to keep a balance and avoid giving too much teacher talk while providing students the freedom to participate and express in the learning process.
